I am in the process of completing an architectural survey of Huntersville, a town just north of Charlotte.  The results of the survey will be presented at the May 31 meeting of the Survey Committee of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission.   This committee is tasked with approving potentially-historic properties for the commission’s study list and landmark designation.  Hopefully, many of the properties I’ve identified (over 500!) will eventually become local landmarks.  There are several good candidates!
